BYU Women's Conference

This year I had the AMAZING experience of helping out at Women's Conference.  I was the assistant to my friend and we were in charge of a massive service project where thousands of women came and helped us measure, cut, fold and box fleece blankets to be distributed to various agencies in the area.  Kristen and I spent hours upon hours attending many meetings at BYU, calling agencies, recruiting a core team of ladies, and basically organizing the project to be held at the Smithfield House at BYU.
We had many miracles along the way, and I met lots of wonderful women from all parts of the country, there to serve with us in behalf of the poor and needy in our community.
It was INSPIRING!

My mom came and helped, and was the life of the party!
We had extra fleece that we accessorized with!

We completed over 6,000 blankets!

Happy Birthday Grandpa Jensen!

Happy Birthday to our awesome grandpa!
86 years young!

Prom 2K15

Parker had an interesting experience this year with prom.  He asked out a darling girl while on choir tour in California and she was excited and everything seemed great, until the Thursday before prom. Her grades weren't where they needed to be and her parents grounded her from going to prom. We were hosting the dinner, had the tux and flowers ordered, and Parker was a driver for his group of six couples.
What to do?
So on Friday, Parker stood up in one of his classes and said, "If this doesn't go well, forget I even said anything, but is there anyone who would like to go to prom with me on Saturday?"  A bunch of girls started pointing to a darling girl and said, "she would love to go!"
The girl smiled and said, "sure!"
Turns out, she was a senior and had never gone to prom, but always wanted to go.
Are you wiping a tear??
 I know right???
They had the best time ever together, she was a stellar date, super nice, fun and beautifully, modestly dressed.
It  all turned out perfectly!

Taylor and Ashlyn

I never quite know what Taylor is going to come up with next.  His creative brain conjures up all kinds of ideas on a daily basis.  His friends come over and just anxiously wait for him to reveal the fun activity for the day!
Today he was a car...this old licence plate is strapped to his stomach, and he roller bladed all around the neighborhood.

I heard music in the basement and discovered a disco party going on.  Taylor has disco lights that he got for Christmas, and set up this DJ booth.  All the neighbor kids were dancing and singing.

Ever seen these?  Leave it to Taylor to find the latest and greatest gadgets! His friend has a pair of these skyrunners and Taylor decided to save his money and get some.  He jumps all around the neighborhood drawing lots of attention from oohing and aahing admirers.

I walked into the kitchen and found this kid handcuffed to the fridge...

Now he is footcuffed:)
The kid kills me!!!

Ashlyn and her friend Ashlyn (confusing I know), made a cake all by themselves for a young women camp fundraiser.  I was so proud of them!

Ashlyn refereed her first game this spring!

She was so nervous, but did a great job, and even stood her ground with a jerky coach that harassed her.

Spring Break

For spring break this year we decided to stay close and just go to the Zermott in Midway.  We had an awesome condo and enjoyed three days of relaxing in the Heber Valley.
Parker was at Choir tour in California, Alyssa was preparing for finals at college.  So it was just the three munchkins!

The Zermott pool was awesome!

We hiked up to memorial hill.

Gorgeous views all around!

Shopped in Park City.  The kids had really never been on main street, so we enjoyed some of the art galleries and quaint shops.

This was the view out of our condo...my kind of place!

We always enjoy a good game of tennis.  Taylor found that awesome hat at the outlets.

Wasatch State Park.  The kids fed the geese, played with their soccer ball and on the playground.  It was awesome to just simply go to a park and relax.

We visited the crater at the Holmstead.

Denver and a new baby!

My sister Allyson had her third baby in December, and I was DYING to get out there to see this beautiful boy!!  I didn't have much money, so I prayed that I could find a cheap flight.  After watching the airlines for 2 months, I found a flight for $80.00 round trip!!! Yipee!
I was able to go and spend a week just playing and help Ally with things she needed..like a little more SLEEP! :)
Eli Tefteller
I couldn't stop kissing those cheeks!
He was THIS HAPPY the whole time!

Emma the entertainer!
She got a new karaoke machine for Christmas and was happy to demo it for me!  She sang all her favorite Disney songs!

Love this Isaiah munchkin!

February Fun

Just some fun happenings in February...
Taylor had a piano recital

Parker was in his school play...Almost Maine.  A quirky, but fun play to watch.

Parker qualified for Debate Nationals twice.
He got first place at one tournament, then second at another.
Unfortunately the first tournament was scheduled to end on Sunday, and Parker didn't want to compete on the Sabbath.  The second tournament will be held in the summer, and we will be in Italy.

Valentine's Day

Each year Taylor comes up with a clever Valentine's Day box for his class party.  We don't know where he gets these ideas but this year it was a...

Gold Flying Pig!

He made this all by himself!

He and his best friend Mac decided to share a box this year...
Taylor's side...
Mac's side...
Taylor and Mac...the crazies!

I got lots of flowers from my family.

Baby Hadley

Adrienne and Ryan had their first little baby on February 12!
 Hadley Mae Wilson.

Seeing Hadley at the hospital for the first time was amazing, I love her so much already!!

Looking forward to spoiling this girl like crazy!

Snow day...sort of...

It was a TERRIBLE winter for snow!  We practically had tropical weather!  This was the one day we got anything, and it ain't much!  However the boys decided to make the most of it...

After coming back from a trip around the block, they decided they needed a little more face protection..

Off they go!  Such great boys!

Ashy mashy!

My sweet Ashlyn turned 12 yrs. old this January!!
She is so excited to go to YW and to be a beehive!
I love her energy,
her flair for fashion,
her spunky personality
and her tender heart!

We invited her best friends over for Cafe Rio and a movie.
Upon turning 12yrs. Ashlyn enters the Young Women program at church.  she was spotlighted by a darling laurel!

She received flowers!

Grandma Baxter helped Ashlyn and her friend Hailey find names to take to the temple.

Heading to the temple to perform baptisms for the dead.

Beautiful Ashlyn!
