Yesterday was the Super Bowl.
We don't really get into football as a family...except BYU, and since we don't watch TV on Sunday, the Super Bowl is pretty much just another day. However I have two boys who wanted to at least track the score throughout the game. Parker checked the score and gave us updates periodically. During dinner, he gave us such an update...Seahawks up, 36-8.
I commented,
"Looks like Peyton Manning is doing his thing! (not)"
Connor looks up, smiles, and says,
"Mom, I gotta be honest, I'm impressed that you know who Peyton Manning is!"
Yeah, I'm pretty cool that way.
